In keeping with Mayor Becker’s commitment to establishing the infrastructure for a vibrant and sustainable future, six new electrical vehicle charging stations have been installed throughout the City. These stations reflect the priorities of Salt Lake City’s residents and are the first steps in laying the groundwork ahead of a new wave of affordable, electric-only vehicles.

This strategic collaboration between Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County created a new, dedicated funding mechanism to help support and develop downtown’s thriving arts and cultural scene. The agreement will dedicate an estimated $9.8 million toward marketing, branding and development of Salt Lake City’s Cultural over the next 20 years.
