Live panel discussion with victims of domestic violence and those who help. Hosted by I am Salt Lake Podcast and I Am Change.

Hildegard Koening - Domestic violence survivor. Works in the Mayors office as a community liaison. Sits on numerous boards for domestic violence. Trains faith leaders, school/college admin, community volunteers. Speaks all over the US. Is disabled for life due to her abuse. She is actively involved in raising domestic violence awareness in the Island, refugee, Hispanic, Native American, LGTB, and disabled community. 

Brandy Farmer - Domestic violence survivor. Utah Crime Prevention Specialist. Worked for the Utah DA' s office. Sits on SLDVC and many other boards. Has written and co-written many laws and Utah dating violence curriculum for schools/colleges. Chairs the Civico Centro Mexicano. Is very active and well respected in the community. Has been advocating and speaking in Utah for 30 years.

Justin Boardman - Dectective with WVPD - Victim Advocate. Sits on the Rape Recovery Center Board and the UCASA Board. Trains medical personnel/ER nurses/ police officers on how to recognize domestic violence. Speaks all over the US and is very active in the community with fundraising for domestic violence programs and raising awareness.

Heather Smith Wolsey - is a survivor of Domestic Violence and a loving mother of six beautiful children. She works at the Daily Herald as Marketing Director and Digital Sales Manager. In her spare time she advocates for changes in DV law and uses her story to empower victims to seek help.
